Early Life
I grew up in a small town in east Tennessee. I was raised by a single mother and an older sister. We didn't come from money, but what we lacked in financial freedom, my mother made up for with teaching us character and morals. She taught us to be good to other people. She taught us to ALWAYS be grateful, no matter how little we have...because someone, somewhere, has it worse. She taught us to always have respect for others, and ourselves, and never let anyone tell us we can't accomplish something. I wouldn't trade these lessons for all the money in the world, and I will pass them to my children as well.

Military, MMA, Self Discovery.
I joined the US Army at the age of 17 as a Psychological Operations Specialist. I was deployed to Iraq 07-08. My time in the Army plays a big role in who I am today. I competed a little in MMA fighting in my twenties, and failed! I'd do it all over again though, because through those failures, I truly discovered myself. Failure is the greatest teacher.
What about the BEEF?
Throughout my entire life, no matter how unbalanced things felt at times, one constant that always remained was my love for Beef Jerky. It has always been my favorite "feel good" snack.
To me, Beef Jerky resembles a minimalistic treat. Nothing fancy, just sliced up, marinated, dehydrated BEEF.
But all the big name companies out there have put a veil over the integrity of the snack by loading it with tons of unnecessary preservatives and valuing quantity over quality. So I started making my own. The way it's supposed to be made.
I started sharing my creations with friends, and kept getting positive feedback. I day dreamed about starting a jerky business for many years. I am proud and grateful to finally be here. If you want something in life, start working on it! The only person holding you back is you.
